Runner’s High

Two years thereabouts since I actually ran on my own accord.
They say the body produces endorphins to kill the pain. With these natural painkillers come the side effect of experiencing a high that leaves the mind giddy with euphoria for some time after.
I feel good.

Surgical Spam Strike

Heheh, that’s a year and four months’ worth of spam on a fairly low traffic site for you. Took me just about two hours and a whole lot of pistachio nuts to surgically strike out all the dirt. The site was running on WordPress 1.0 I believe. First generation stuff!
And of course, the usual bout […]

Bayesian Telepathy

About time Mozilla Thunderbird started thinking the same way I did. The stuff it marks as junk mail automatically never ceases to amuse me.
Then again, I have to admit that I don’t train the Bayesian filter well though. So there.

Mac/PC Naming Woes

An attempt to archive some stuff onto DVDs had me zipping up over 2000 files and transferring them over to this computer.
And then you learn that since the Mac can name files practically anything and Windows can’t, this translates to a whole lot of problems…
What’s with people naming their files this way:
Story 01/Photos
photo w/ me […]

Put The Tarik In The Pepsi

Instead of Coca-Cola with Lime…

How do I savour one can?

Of Teamwork And Individuality

You learn these gems here and there:
Like I always say there’s no ‘I’ in team… There’s a ‘me’ though if you jumble it up. - Dr Gregory House
Great retort for those occasional times when one needs it.
Back to school!

Borderline Chaos

About time I took to something new. Whee!
It doesn’t show but sometimes I find content creation very, very fun. As long as I don’t have to use the artistic side of me. I can’t design. At. All.
But of course, the headache’s in working out scripting and such. I spent I think two hours obsessing over […]

My First Sudoku

Surprisingly addictive, this thing. I only know of its existance after chancing upon a shelf full of it at Kinokuniya last Sunday.

Not Just Serenity

The business world makes little sense sometimes. Serenity was released September 30 over in the United States. It’s a movie by Joss Whedon, director of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and uhh, Firefly. While I haven’t caught Firefly (after hearing bad reviews), Buffy rocked and I think Angel will once I get my hands on […]

Just Another Trojan

And my computer gets another one.
That’s… two… in the last three years? All due to my stupidity in running tempting small programs. None came as a result of some exploit or hole in the security system or whatever.
This one was quickly rid of thanks to HijackThis. At least, I think it is. It’ll take time […]
