Why I Use WordPress

It used to be hard trying to convince people to switch. Some people just preferred something simpler, easier. Ah, but “simple” and “easy” come at a price.
But hey, what makes my day. Plugins! WordPress’ modular system means that I can either keep it simple, or load it up to Content Management System-level standards. Well, it’s […]

NaNoWriMo 2005

And I wonder if I can accomplish it this year. Possible, as long as the deadlines don’t pour in.

Borderline Chaos

About time I took to something new. Whee!
It doesn’t show but sometimes I find content creation very, very fun. As long as I don’t have to use the artistic side of me. I can’t design. At. All.
But of course, the headache’s in working out scripting and such. I spent I think two hours obsessing over […]

Battery Death

Normal alkaline batteries (well, fine, oxy-alkalines) are so expensive! At least, when they’re bought from a photo shop. $6.60 leh… Even more than my usual taxi rides.
I’m stocking up on them if I ever find a cheap source, which shouldn’t be that hard. No cheap normal alkalines for me. No expensive non-rechargeable lithiums either.
Then again, […]

My First Sudoku

Surprisingly addictive, this thing. I only know of its existance after chancing upon a shelf full of it at Kinokuniya last Sunday.

Phish Food!

Stuff from the Kingdom of Loathing:
I do not walk, I do not fly
Breathe what I breathe, and you will die
The Catholics, they all come my way
for they can eat me on Friday
Though spelling’s not our strongest case,
We have deph jams to pheed your phace
Our music’s loose and phree and trippy
Come see our show, you philthy […]

Another of Jobs’ Doing

*sees the new revision of the iPod*
*falls in love with it*
Sadly, with that white PSP, it means I need a white one to match. The black one is very, very hot though (just like the Nano).
And yes, I need something to store 60gb of music in (not that I have that much), so this goes […]

Meet Godzilla

It’s not often that I get to play around with stuff. For me, playing around doesn’t mean games. That’s playing.
Some stuff just require the SSE3 extensions, which the old rig, with an Athlon XP, lacks.
Godzilla’s still an abomination, but bringing it home means I can fiddle with it. Hee.
I can’t wait for the Intel PowerMacs, […]

It’s Not Mine

Not mine, k? Just on long term loan.

Not Just Serenity

The business world makes little sense sometimes. Serenity was released September 30 over in the United States. It’s a movie by Joss Whedon, director of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and uhh, Firefly. While I haven’t caught Firefly (after hearing bad reviews), Buffy rocked and I think Angel will once I get my hands on […]
